I am concentrating on Beginners , because I think , it is very important that beginners should be taught the right way to dance.
I am finding new methods to teach students. I am always improving my methods . I want them to remember the steps . The techniques will be taught by stages, it cannot be done in one lesson.
Take waltz for example:
Stage 1 , is to learn the steps,
Stage 2, C.B.M (Control Body Movements)
Stage 3, the ups and downs / heel , toe ,toe
Stage 4, the sways.
Most important, the student must be at ease, no pressure,
not being afraid of getting scolding from the instructor or
instructor show his "idoitic" look when you make mistake or he raise his voice.
Students has the sixth sense , They can FEEL , when the instructor is not happy.
