Dance tuition fee

Some of the people in Malacca, says the tuition fee for an hour of lesson is expensive. 

The current fees charge for an hour is between Rm40  to Rm90  per hour. 

Different dance instructor charged differently.

Hi friends,

On the 3rd of Sept (Tuesday) at 8pm.  We are going to start our Bachata dance lesson.  It is a simple dance , if you know the 'character' of the dance. 

1   It has 4 beats.
2.  You move your hip on the 4th beat.
3.   The next move, begins with the leg you use on the 4th beat. 

The music is so lively.  99% of the dancers love the music.

SRJK(C) BACHANG'S HALL, Lorong Pandan, Melaka.  

It is organised by , Persatuan Peranakan Cina Malaysia.
The fee is Rm60 in aid of their new building at Tengkera.

What Dancers want.

What dancers expect when the go for dinner and DANCE. 

1.   They want to DANCE , therefore organizers MUST know which

       songs they should play.

2.   The sound system must be good. 

3.   The dancing space should be big enough

4.   They want a seat nearest to the dance space. 

5.   Drinks. They are not particular about food. 

Lately I been to one dinner and dance.

It is a live band of  four. While the SAME song is being played,

1)  Why aren't there many people taking up social, ballroom or latin       dances.
2)  Could it be, that the tuition fee of  Rm15 for 2 hrs is expensive? 
3)  Could it be people are shy to learn dancing?
4)  Maybe they want to try out first? Get the feel of it.

New Fantastic Students

Yesterday, 9th of April 13 (Tuesday)  I got,  my 1st fantastic couple who can do the foxtrot in 2 hrs. They are beginners. They have great learning attitude and I am proud to be associated with them . I am sure anyone of our new beginners will look forward to meet them.

Hi Friends,
               Good news , Edward & Sybil will continue singing at Lisbon Hotel, Portuguese Settlement every Friday and Saturday in February 2013.

Hope to see you guys there. They start singing at 8pm and stop at 11.30pm.
You can also play your own CD each time they take a 15min break.

The crowd are getting bigger now. Do come early to get your seats.  Looks like the 2 big flower pots will have to be shifted.

2nite at 8pm , 26th Jan 2013 me and friends will be at lisbon hotel, portuguese settlement to join the line and social dance.  Nice place to be. Cheap drinks at Rm1 and Rm2 . Very windy . 2 piece live band. Fantastic dance floor. You can sing and dance. Starts at 8pm and ends at 11.30pm.

Fajar Food Court

What do you think, if a part of Fajar Food Court is turned into a spot for social and line dancing?   The price of food and drinks remains the same. The music will start from 730pm and end at 11.30pm .

What do you think of the idea and will you come and support . At least there is a place where we can "lepak" after work.
